As you know, charm and atmosphere do not usually match with rush and publicity. Indeed you will not find La Source Bleue in a well known spot, and you will need a good map to find this charming hotel located by the river Lot.

Some people say that this place looks like paradise on earth. It is true that here you will find almost everything you look for when you need a holiday: Park, swimming-pool, sauna, and no noise, only birds, the sweet hush of the wind in the giant bamboo forest,

the ducks on the lake and a Japanese-style garden. In this place you can converse on Japanese carps and Zen gardens as well as evoke the memory of Karlfried von Durckheim, the famous German Zen teacher.

The hotel was originally three water mills run by the blue spring. They date back to the 11th and 15th century. There are 16 different rooms, complete with bath, telephone and TV. There is also a restaurant called "La Bambouseraie" which is located next to the hotel in a converted barn with its original beams. You have nice walks around the hotel and specially the Saint Jacques de Compostelle path.
